Its time to hurry up and take action. 7:00, There's Hitch. Great analysis. Id say thats what makes the famous Japanese film Ju-on so terrifying. In most horror movies, there is some form of safe space. Many horror movies are set up so that bad things only happen at night or when the character is alone, etc., and usually the main characters are safe during the day when theyre out in public. We also associate hiding under the covers with safety. But Ju-on tells us that the malicious spirit has all the power and that there IS no safe space. You can be with 20 other people in broad daylight and the spirit will still come for you. At one point in the film, a girl hides under her covers and the ghost climes in and kills her in her bed where she thought she was safe. Its also what makes Pans Labyrinth so interesting. Even though the movie seems like it would be focused on the fantasy aspects of Ofelias quest, instead its primarily focused on the captain and him imposing his will onto others.

Anthony Hopkins is simply a legend, an exquisite actor and magnificent person. This go hard while spitting facts on facts. Luda aka Chris Lova Lova you did that. If the night vision goggles had an infra-red lamp function to boost visibility, there would be shadows. To win it all was a great accomplishment and to be established among the resting of your old soul I will cherish indeed. Thank you for your contributions and  I have to say to that you are very admirable of an actor. I do not think I will be able to sustain another character of your in a life time. I HAD THE STANK FACE THE WHOLE TIME.

I remember watching this in the cinema when it came out, when she's walking down the corridor you're wondering what the hell is going to be in the cell at the end, then you see Anthony Hopkins just standing there. It was terrifying. Anthony Hopkins. Best. Actor. Ever. Excellent film. I just love the directors idea of putting you in Clarices shoes the entire movie, every scene was made to show her point of view of Hannibal and Buffalo Bill when she talks to them.
